Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member to support donor centers. You will perform venipuncture, operate plasmapheresis equipment, and ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards while delivering a positive donor experience.

You will maintain a clean work area, document procedures, monitor donor safety, handle waste, and participate in routine maintenance. The role requires a HS diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to work day/evening shifts, weekends,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months healthcare experience preferred.
• Documentation of training required before duties.
• Ability to read/understand safety and operating procedures.
• Ability to perform venipunctures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total operation complies with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high level of customer service and donor experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and professional environment.
• Review donor IDs and confidentiality per procedures.
• Set up equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis.
• Label units and samples accurately.
• Perform venipunctures and plasma collection to high quality standards.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and events.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma product quality.
• Dispose of biohazardous waste and clean spills per safety protocols.
• Perform routine calibration/maintenance of machines.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain inventory and replenish supplies.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms and perform daily QC.
