Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Audubon, NJ seeks a Plasmapheresis Technician responsible for executing plasmapheresis via venipuncture, maintaining compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA and GMP, while delivering excellent donor care.

You will set up equipment, monitor donors, document logs, perform routine machine maintenance, and ensure safety and quality of plasma product; the role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work with donors in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain a high level of donor service and positive donor experience.
• Stock and replenish supplies; maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Confirm donor identification and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Setup equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label samples.
• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis; ensure quality and safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines; respond to alarms and donor events.
• Monitor donor conditions for safety and product quality.
• Maintain machine logs and document safety/quality incidents.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines; remove/replace as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation; report unsafe conditions.
• Support training efficiencies and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
