Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations, patient registration, prescription data entry, and processing.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with vaccines and health services where allowed by law, while managing technician staff and scheduling. You will ensure efficient workflow, adherence to policies, accuracy in records, and strong customer service to provide a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required or to be obtained where applicable.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in daily non-clinical operations and prescription processing.
• Register patients and enter prescription data.
• Support vaccine administration and health services where allowed by law.
• Lead and develop pharmacy technician staff; manage scheduling and training.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
