Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical operations, patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include staff training, performance management, and maintaining pharmacy workflow, inventory, and compliance with policies. Excellent customer service and accurate insurance processing are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in daily non-clinical pharmacy operations and verify prescriptions under supervision.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
