Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, non-clinical pharmacy technician to support day-to-day operations, ensure efficient workflow, and deliver a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation while participating in training and performance management of staff. You will help staff with immunization services, health screenings, and other services allowed by law, while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and assist with healthcare service offerings as allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work to team while ensuring on-time tasks and efficient workflow.
• Prepare and file reports and records required by company and government agencies.
• Monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory and equipment; support community outreach and off-site immunization clinics.
