Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under a pharmacist’s supervision. You will handle prescription data entry, patient registration, and assist with vaccines and health services where permitted by law, while driving efficient workflow.

You will lead training and performance management for technicians, coordinate scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities and prescription processing.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure compliant workflow and inventory management.
• Manage community outreach and partnerships related to pharmacy operations.
