Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, non-clinical Pharmacy Technician to help ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications, while supporting vaccine administration and health services where allowed by law. You will lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians, schedule and develop personnel, and drive compliance with company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; PTCB certification may be required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under supervision.
• Assist pharmacist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and processing prescriptions.
• Support vaccine administration, health screenings, and other health services allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work to ensure on-time workflow and accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management, recordkeeping, and security safeguards in the pharmacy.
