Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, non-clinical pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in daily operations, patient registration, data entry, and prescription processing. You will assist with vaccines and health services where allowed by law, and help manage the pharmacy workflow to ensure a positive patient experience.

Under supervision, you will train and coach technicians, oversee performance, and ensure compliance with policies, security, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration, data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Count, verify, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision where allowed by law.
• Participate in health services offerings such as vaccines and screenings where allowed by law.
• Manage non-clinical pharmacy operations, improve workflow, and ensure on-time task completion.
• Train, coach, and evaluate pharmacy technicians; handle performance management per policy.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
