Intuit is seeking a Staff Payroll Tax Processor to lead complex tax issue resolution. This role focuses on notices, corrections, and amendments, serving as a technical lead and SME for the team.

The position involves end-to-end case management, mentoring peers, and driving process improvements across Federal and State payroll tax matters. A strong foundation in tax law and cross-state compliance is essential.

Formación

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience focused on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Expert knowledge of state and federal payroll tax notices; able to draft penalty abatements and agency responses.
• Hands-on experience preparing amended Federal and State payroll tax returns across multiple states.
• Deep knowledge of federal payroll tax law: FICA, FUTA, FITW, and payment/deposit schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices across multiple quarters and states.
• Prepare and file amended returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents) end-to-end.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors spanning multiple pay periods and jurisdictions.
• Mentor Senior Processors and share resolution processes to build team capability.
• Identify trends and communicate findings with recommended resolutions to leadership.
