Intuit is seeking a Staff Payroll Tax Processor to resolve complex state and federal notices, prepare amended returns, and drive tax defect resolution. You’ll lead as a SME, mentor teammates, and contribute to SOPs and knowledge bases while ensuring accuracy across multi-state payroll tax scenarios.

The role emphasizes coaching, process improvement, and collaboration with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Competenze

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Experience drafting penalty abatement requests and agency responses.
• Proven ability to file amended Federal/State payroll returns (941-X, W-2c).
• Deep knowledge of FICA, FUTA, FITW and payroll tax laws.

Mansioni

• Resolve complex payroll tax notices across multiple quarters/states.
• Prepare and file amended returns end-to-end including reconciliations.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors and drive complete correction workflows.
• Coach and mentor junior staff; conduct quarterly coaching sessions.
• Develop SOPs/KB articles and identify recurring QA issues.
