Intuit is seeking a Staff Payroll Tax Processor to lead complex payroll tax cases across Notices, Corrections, and Amendments. You will own the most challenging cases, mentor teammates, and improve processes while ensuring accurate tax filings.

This remote role offers flexible hours with a base focus on state and federal notices, amended returns, and knowledge transfer to the team for scalable success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience focusing on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Independent drafting of penalty abatement requests and agency response letters.
• Experience preparing amended Federal (Form 941-X, W-2c) and State payroll tax returns.

Responsabilités

• Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices across multiple states and cases.
• Prepare and file amended payroll tax returns across 10+ states end-to-end.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors and drive correction workflows to resolution.
• Maintain high productivity in resolving Corrections, Amendments, and Notices.
