Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with tax defect resolution across states.
• Experience drafting penalty abatements and agency responses.
• Experience preparing amended Federal/State payroll tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices across multiple quarters and states.
• Prepare and file amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) across 10+ states.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors spanning multiple pay periods and jurisdictions; drive corrections.
• Lead and coach senior staff, share knowledge, and develop team capability.
• Create and maintain SOPs and KB articles; identify QA patterns and root causes.
