Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience focusing on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Proven ability to independently draft penalty abatement requests and agency response letters.
• Hands-on experience preparing amended Federal (941-X, W-2c) and State payroll tax returns across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Resolve the most complex State and Federal payroll tax notices, owns full case lifecycle from intake to closure.
• Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns across 10+ states end-to-end.
• Diagnose and resolve payroll tax errors across multiple pay periods and jurisdictions; drive complete correction workflow.
