Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax SME to lead complex tax defect resolution across notices, corrections, and amendments. This role focuses on end-to-end case ownership, training teammates, and driving process improvements in a remote SelectTime-enabled environment.

The position emphasizes expertise in payroll tax notices, amended returns, and cross-state compliance, with a strong emphasis on mentoring staff and building team capability.

Competenze

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience focusing on tax defect resolution for notices, amendments, and corrections.
• Proven ability to draft penalty abatements and agency responses with documentation.
• Experience filing Form 941-X and state amended returns across multiple states, incl. complex local rules.

Mansioni

• Resolve the most complex State and Federal payroll tax notices end-to-end, from intake to closure.
• Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns (941-X, W-2c) across 10+ states.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors spanning multiple periods and jurisdictions; drive corrective workflows to resolution.
• Maintain high productivity resolving Corrections, Amendments, and Notice requests with accuracy.
• Coach and mentor Senior Payroll Tax Processors; lead knowledge transfer and process improvement.
