Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with focus on tax defect resolution for notices and amended returns.
• Ability to draft penalty abatements and agency responses with documentation.
• Experience with Form 941-X, W-2c, and multi-state tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices end-to-end, including multi-quarter/state scenarios.
• Prepare and file amended federal/state payroll tax returns across multiple states.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors across periods and jurisdictions, driving complete corrections.
• Maintain high productivity resolving corrections, amendments, and notices with accuracy.
• Coach and mentor Senior Processors and share resolution processes.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams to resolve issues.
