Advantex Professional Services is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist with 5+ years of full cycle, high-volume payroll experience in California. The role requires hands-on ADP Workforce Now and ADP WFM expertise, Kronos/UKG experience, and meticulous attention to compliance across multiple states.

You will process payroll for 500+ employees, handle overtime, bonuses, commissions, and final checks, and ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full cycle payroll processing experience.
• Experience handling multi-state payroll for 500+ employees.
• Hands-on ADP expertise with compliance and reporting.
• Certified Payroll Practitioner or FPC/CPP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process exempt and non-exempt payroll for 500+ employees.
• Manage overtime, bonuses, commissions, adjustments, and final checks.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and audit timecards and reports.
• Ensure multi-state compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Reconcile payroll journals, benefits deductions, and liabilities.
• Handle new hires, terminations, garnishments, and manual checks.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
