Job summary

First Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage full cycle payroll administration in a multi-state environment. The role supports Human Resources with various responsibilities and activities in the United States.

You will administer multi-state, semi-monthly and special payrolls, resolve discrepancies with ADP, and ensure tax setup and regulatory compliance. Strong Excel/Word skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
• ADP Workforce Now payroll software experience preferred.
• College degree in a related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle confidential material.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Administer full cycle multi-state payrolls and conduct accuracy audits.
• Collect and manage payroll changes and inputs on time.
• Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies with ADP and HR staff.
• Research tax setup for new states and file registrations.
• Determine employer poster requirements for new states.
• Ensure tax compliance and processing with ADP.
• Maintain HR/payroll records and paperwork.
• Provide finance with semi-monthly statements and invoices.
• Assist employees with payroll questions and I-pay statements.
• Coordinate Transit program and assist with new hires and terminations.
• Respond to employment verifications.
