Job summary

CalvertHealth seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage bi-weekly payroll across multiple entities, using KRONOS Workforce Central and ADP Workforce Now. You will verify time records, resolve payroll queries, and coordinate with departments and vendors to ensure accurate, compliant pay.

A high school diploma is required, with payroll certification preferred. Often required to work independently, you’ll maintain strong control processes and contribute to reliable financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of payroll-related experience; ideally with ADP Workforce Now and KRONOS.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; payroll certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel strongly desired.
• Knowledge of general ledger reporting and auditing processes and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll operations for multiple entities using KRONOS and ADP Workforce Now.
• Receive, verify, and reconcile employee time records; resolve payroll issues.
• Answer inquiries and communicate with other departments and outside vendors to resolve payroll problems.
• Adhere to internal accounting and auditing controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
