Job summary

LLFlex in Louisville, KY is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist II to deliver accurate, timely payroll and comprehensive benefits support for a multi-state manufacturing workforce.

You will manage weekly and biweekly payrolls, time and attendance, open enrollment, leaves, and pension plan support, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. The role requires precision, confidentiality, and collaboration with Finance, Safety, and union representatives.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or related field.
• 2–5 years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll experience, including hourly and shift-based employees.
• 1–3 years of benefits administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Paycor or ADP.
• Experience with payroll/HRIS implementations or conversions.
• FLSA, wage-and-hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and FMLA knowledge.
• Intermediate Excel skills with XLOOKUP and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payrolls for hourly and salaried staff in Paycor, meeting all deadlines.
• Administer overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, garnishments, and union dues per CBAs.
• Maintain multi-state tax setups and respond to tax notices.
• Prepare GL/Journal entries and safety reports; support quarter/year-end closes and W-2s.
• Maintain and audit timekeeping system; manage PTO and accruals per policy.
• Lead annual open enrollment and enrollments for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
• Support 401(k) administration, plan documents, and vendor relationships.
• Process FMLA leave, coordinate benefits during leave, and manage return-to-work documentation.
• Maintain pension eligibility data and assist with Form 5500 filings.
• Assist Paycor HRIS implementations and audits with accurate payroll data.
