Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• 1–2 years payroll/benefits experience mandatory.
• Hands-on payroll processing with ADP required.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Kentucky employment law knowledge and confidentiality essential.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and monthly payroll; generate payroll reports.
• Maintain payroll and benefits records; handle garnishments.
• Administer medical/dental/vision/Life and HSA plans; open enrollment, COBRA.
• Coordinate FMLA with third-party administrator; manage leave payments.
• Produce absenteeism reports; track awards and attendance bonuses.
• Communicate payroll/benefits updates; provide HR training as needed.
• Support employee relations and unemployment claims; protect confidential data.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure compliant payroll practices.
