Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company redefining checkout and payments. As a Senior Sales Engineer for enterprise merchants, you will lead technical discovery, design scalable integrations, and partner with sales, engineering, and product teams to win deals and drive adoption of the Affirm platform.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, develop reusable assets and demos, and influence product direction with the voice of the customer. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business/technology, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in Sales Engineering or related roles.
• 3+ years in payments/fintech industry.
• Experience with API integrations, SaaS, checkout & payment systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design scalable merchant solutions.
• Architect end‑to‑end integrations addressing complex merchant needs.
• Partner with sales, engineering and product to drive opportunities.
• Create pre‑sales material and demos for engagements.
