Job summary

Alt Platform Inc is building real-time, scalable money movement for a high‑value marketplace. You’ll own rails, payouts, risk, and the orchestration layer that routes transfers between banks, processors, and the ledger with exactly‑once delivery.

You’ll design for reliability and auditability, balancing speed against safety and building tooling for operations to investigate and resolve issues without paging engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend-focused experience in Python, Postgres, AWS.
• Experience with real-money movement: ACH, RTP, wires, or credit-push rails.
• Built and operated production payment/provider integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own money movement rails, provider orchestration, and settlement logic.
• Design and maintain a single orchestration layer with reliable webhooks and idempotency.
• Build tooling for pay operations, reconciliation, and incident response.
• Balance speed and reliability in high-value transactions and implement risk controls.
