Job summary

Alt Platform Inc is building real-time pricing and liquidity for the $5B trading-card market. You will own the ledger and money-movement system that powers every trade, loan, and payout, with a focus on accuracy, auditability, and scale.

You will design and own the double-entry ledger, rails for ACH/wire/instant settlements, and robust reconciliation. The role requires strong backend expertise, attention to correctness, and mentorship to the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend systems experience with money movement.
• Experience with a double-entry ledger in production.
• Strong SQL and relational design skills.
• API-first thinking with webhooks, idempotency, and reconciliation.
• Experience in marketplace or two-sided flow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own ledger as system of record with immutability and audit trail.
• Design rails for money movement: ACH, RTP, wires, settlement.
• Own payouts and settlement timing to speed liquidity.
• Build reconciliation workflow and exception handling.
• Develop lending infrastructure from origination to lifecycle.
• Create provider architecture for multi-PSP integrations.
• Address risk on high-value flows with data-driven decisions.
• Make customer activity readable directly from the ledger.
• Balance speed with accuracy in trade-off decisions.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to code reviews and docs.
