Job summary

OrthoArizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Patient Services Specialist for Advanced Imaging to manage scheduling for CT and MRI, assist with check-in/out, and coordinate with radiology staff. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth flow and accurate information.

The role requires a friendly, patient-focused approach, 1–2 years of medical front desk experience, flexibility for Saturdays and traveling to other sites as needed, and a commitment to high-quality

Qualifications

• Medical front desk experience (1–2 years preferred).
• Willingness to travel to other OrthoArizona sites (Phoenix and Gilbert).
• Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays as needed.
• Experience with CT/MRI scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule CT and MRI appointments per protocol.
• Check-in/out patients and manage patient flow.
• Review CT/MRI reports to ensure Radiologist reads them.
• Answer patient questions and route inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain lobby organization and assist with documentation scanning.

As an Advanced Imaging Senior Patient Services Specialist with OrthoArizona, you will get to:

• Schedule appointments correctly and accurately pursuant to provider scheduling protocols.
• Schedule appointments for CT and MRIs.
• Go through CT/MRI reports to make sure the Radiologist reads them.
• Interact with patients, family members, visitors, and members of the health care team; directs patient questions and/or complaints to appropriate department; keeps patients informed; maintain efficient patient flow during the check-in and check-out process; check in outside vendors.
• Schedule patients for follow-up office visits or procedures, log no-show appointments; assists in Document Management scanning and chart Indexing.
• Maintain and organize lobby area at the end of the day, opening and closing duties.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be Flexible to Saturdays if needed.
• Must be flexible to travel to our other sites (Phoenix and Gilbert)
• Availability: Monday through Thursday 7:00 – 7:00 / Friday’s 7:00 – 5:30 / Saturday’s 7:00 – 3:00 at NG and SG.
• Medical front desk experience (1-2 years preferred)
