Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in patient access and scheduling processes.
• Certification in Patient Access Specialist is preferred or required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient check-in and check-out.
• Coordinates follow-up appointments or procedures.
• Schedules appointments, procedures or surgery through clinical communication or direct request.
• Provides positive first impressions utilizing customer service skills.
• Works with patients and/or outside facilities to ensure referrals, pre-certs, clinical records and documentation are ready for view prior to patient visit.
