Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Patient Concierge to champion a patient-centric experience, guiding patients through every touchpoint with warmth and efficiency.

Responsibilities include front-desk check-in/out, eligibility verification, appointment scheduling and real-time patient inquiries, plus price- and time-sensitive coordination with clinical staff. A High School diploma and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year practice-based healthcare experience preferred.
• Customer Service experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills are expected.
• Focus on compliance, continuous growth and quality service.
• Ability to manage time effectively and communicate clearly with patients.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients politely and compassionately during interactions.
• Handle check-in/check-out, consent, pre-registration and eligibility verification.
• Support MyChart education, scheduling and inquiries at point of service.
• Deliver waiting room concierge service and assist with kiosk check-in.
• Assist with practice opening/closing, mail, cash handling and faxes.
• Support team members by addressing in-basket messages.
• Coordinate with Access Center for time-sensitive scheduling.
• Facilitate connections to clinical staff for urgent inquiries.
• Maintain a solution-oriented approach to patient needs.
