Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem is seeking a Patient Concierge to act as a passionate patient advocate and deliver a unique patient experience in a practice-based setting.

You will assist with check-in/check-out, pre-registration, real-time eligibility, MyChart education, appointment scheduling, and payment collection. The role emphasizes compassionate communication, effective time management, and collaboration with Access Center staff to coordinate care and respond to patient

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year practice-based experience or in a similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients in a polite, prompt, and compassionate manner during all practice-based patient interactions.
• Performs clerical service delivery functions with patients, including check-in, check-out, pre-registration and real-time eligibility verification, registration, MyChart education, appointment/testing scheduling, and cash collection.
• Delivers waiting room concierge service and provides hands-on support to patients utilizing the kiosk check-in process.
• Facilitates opening/closing procedures, maintenance of cleanliness, processing of mail, cash management, and scanning of faxes.
• Supports team members by addressing in-basket clerical pool messages and coordinating with Access Center for time-sensitive scheduling.
