Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital, clinic, medical office or related customer service.
• High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
• Proficient with data entry and Windows applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, guests, family members and employees and communicate throughout their medical experience.
• Explains insurance benefits and collects co-pays, deductibles and self-pay portions due, informing patient of financial responsibility.
• Researches and resolves issues impeding registration, scheduling or billing with the team.
• Monitors productivity and accuracy and assists team with issues identified.
