Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years related experience required.
• Broad knowledge in administrative processes and customer service.
• Computer knowledge necessary; proficient with Microsoft Office; typing 35 wpm minimum.

Responsibilities

• Schedule routine and complex appointments in the department.
• Complete bedside and registration processes with parent/guardian in a courteous manner.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information for accuracy.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorization where applicable; document activity in systems.
• Assist with billing, co-pays, and patient portal work lists; respond to inquiries promptly.
• Support training and mentorship for PAR staff and assist with workflow improvements.
