The position reports to the Patient Access Supervisor or Manager and requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience, with strong customer service and organizational skills in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge in administrative processes and customer service.
• Computer knowledge necessary.
• Microsoft Office experience: Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and parents courteously and register patients accurately.
• Verify insurance and collect demographic information for records.
• Schedule ancillary appointments and coordinate with care teams.
• Respond to patient portal tasks and help ensure timely check-in.
