Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a remote Parts Sales Operations Specialist to support national aftermarket performance. The role involves collaborating with dealers, conducting audits, and driving parts sales initiatives across the territory.

You will provide field intelligence to HQ, analyze market trends, and help dealers meet financial goals while aligning with corporate programs and standard practices.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in aftermarket parts.
• Ability to travel 50% or more.
• Knowledge of DTNA Paragon system.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.
• Proficiency in Tableau.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve dealer/distributor parts department performance.
• Identify innovative methods to align dealer behavior with national aftermarket standards.
• Conduct operations audits and recommend corrective actions.
• Foster relationships between Dealer Principal and Parts Manager.
• Collaborate with Dealer Principal to meet aftermarket objectives.
• Provide HQ with field intelligence on program effectiveness and market trends.
• Assist dealer personnel in achieving marketing and financial goals in parts.
• Suggest changes in facilities, staffing, and business planning.
• Perform financial analysis of dealer/distributor parts business and recommend improvements in pricing/cost control.
• Support annual business planning for parts.
• Promote dealer parts sales initiatives and DTNA programs.
• Develop sales/merchandising programs aligned with national standards.
• Provide market analysis to help dealers develop aftermarket plans.
• Monitor territory performance and adjust sales plans to hit targets.
• Regularly visit end customers with dealers' sales/service staff.
• Analyze customer needs to assess aftermarket support.
• Route dealer requests for technical/managerial training.
• Promote HQ training programs and on-site training.
• Serve as technical consultant on company/dealer systems.
• Coordinate HQ IT training with dealer personnel.
• Elevate dealer sales by deploying DTNA programs (Excelerator Analytics, Dealer Marketing Tool, Solutionist Selling Techniques, Parts Academy).
