Job summary
Daimler Truck North America is seeking a District Parts Manager to provide aftermarket parts management support to dealers/distributors from a remote location. The role involves improving dealer performance, implementing programs to grow parts sales, and coordinating with regional DPMs to cover cross-regional territories.
Travel is required. Qualified candidates will have a strong sales background in aftermarket parts, experience with dealer relationships, and the ability to analyze performance
Qualifications
- Proven sales performance in parts/distributor environment.
- Ability to analyze dealership performance and drive improvements.
- Strong communication with dealers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Improve operational performance of dealer parts departments.
- Advance aftermarket parts sales through dealer programs.
- Conduct operations audits and recommend corrective actions.
- Promote corporate programs and aftermarket performance standards.
- Collaborate with Dealer Principal to align on objectives.
- Provide field intelligence to headquarters on market trends and training needs.
- Assist in developing annual dealer/parts business plans.
- Travel to dealers to support sales/service teams.
- Analyze pricing, cost control and absorption for improvements.
- Deliver on-site training and act as technical consultant as needed.
- Support headquarters training programs and tools.
