Job summary

Itape is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to support national accounts and end users. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain packaging equipment at customer sites, while partnering with sales to understand client needs and deliver effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities include on-site installations, preventive maintenance, training customers on startup and operation, and documenting service activities. Travel up to 60% and ability to lift heavy equipment are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus Associate degree in technology or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of related experience.
• Broad knowledge of electronics and electromechanical principles.
• Experience in packaging automation systems is preferred.
• Proficient with PC applications including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• On-site maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment.
• Train customers on start-up, operation and maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Perform on-site installations, repairs, and demonstrations; provide training to staff.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs and build relationships with customer contacts.
• Assist in developing best practices for technical sales and audits.
• Handle service calls via phone, email, and website; document work orders and reports.
