Job summary

Packsize in Joliet, IL seeks a Resident Service Engineer to install, configure and maintain Packsize equipment at customer facilities. You will perform start-up testing and deliver on-site training on product capabilities, features and maintenance.

You will build strong customer relationships while troubleshooting, reading drawings, and collaborating with R&D, Software and Quality teams. Travel to sites is required and safety protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Training or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows platforms and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and on-site services as needed.
• Install Packsize solutions and train customers on use and maintenance.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and travel as required.
