Job summary

POWERX Co is seeking a P&C Senior Test Engineer to independently execute protection testing, commissioning, and validation across transmission and distribution substations. You will work with minimal supervision and mentor junior engineers on testing techniques and documentation.

The role requires strong relay logic interpretation, CT/VT theory, drawing navigation, and coordination with Lead for energization readiness on projects up to 765kV. A focus on safety and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology is required or preferred.
• 2+ years in high-voltage Protection & Control testing and commissioning.
• Experience with multiple relay platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute relay protection testing using standard platforms.
• Test and validate protection elements across substations and configurations.
• Interpret relay logic, phasors, and event reports to identify anomalies.
• Maintain complete test records and reports for client turnover.
• Support switching activities and outage coordination independently.
