Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative in the United States. You will represent BFS in the sales process, gather customer needs, and create proposals for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects.

• In-depth knowledge of company products, services and sales processes.
• Ability to achieve aggressive sales goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications and developing sales proposals.
• Develops sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects by collecting specification information and conveying needs to technical staff.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations for current and prospective customers and demonstrates products and services.
• Researches and solicits new customers, generating sales opportunities through market knowledge.
• Continuously updates customers on products and services and explains how they meet requirements.
