Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Kennewick, WA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to leverage relationships with residential, multi-family and commercial customers.

You will identify customer needs, develop sales proposals, present BFS products and services, and help train other sales staff while contributing to BFS’s leadership in building materials distribution. This role offers commission-based incentives and potential for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field required.
• Two years of prior sales experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to develop sales proposals and present solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications.
• Develop sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects.
• Plan and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations of BFS products and services.
• Identify new customers and generate sales opportunities through market research.
