Job summary

ZipHQ, Inc. is seeking a Senior OTC Operations Manager in San Francisco to own the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle for subscription and consumption revenue.

This role drives跨-functional initiatives, optimizes cash flow, and leads system architecture and automation efforts across billing and collections. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in billing/AR/revenue accounting at a high-growth tech company, plus strong Excel, SQL, ASC 606 knowledge, and a track record of operationally delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years in billing, accounts receivable, revenue accounting, or order-to-cash at a high-growth tech company.
• Experience managing hybrid revenue models (recurring + consumption).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reconciliation and analysis.
• Familiarity with Snowflake queries; SQL proficiency is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience building AI-driven workflows across multiple data sources.
• Hands-on operational work while driving strategic initiatives.
• Track record of overhauling finance processes; knowledge of NetSuite/Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Own the order-to-cash lifecycle end to end from order creation to cash application.
• Drive collections, monitor AR aging, and resolve disputes with Sales and CS.
• Lead new billing and revenue system implementations with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify and deploy automation and AI workflows to reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with GTM, Deal Desk, and Product on SKU launches and readiness.
• Manage month-end close for bookings and billings in coordination with Revenue teams.
• Ensure accurate usage data capture for billing systems with Engineering/Product.
• Monitor collections strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
• Act as primary contact for AR/billing audits and related matters.
• Develop SOPs and playbooks for end-to-end OTC processes.
