Job summary

Zip, the AI platform for enterprise procurement, seeks a Senior OTC Operations Manager to own and scale the end-to-end order-to-cash process for recurring subscriptions and consumption revenue models.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, drive operational transformation, optimize cash flow, and build OTC system architecture for Zip’s growth. This is a hands-on senior IC role partnering with Finance, Sales, Deal Desk, Product, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in billing, AR, revenue accounting, or order-to-cash at high-growth tech.
• Experience with hybrid revenue models (subscription + consumption).
• Strong Excel/Sheets for reconciliation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 principles and billing application.

Responsibilities

• Own OTC lifecycle end-to-end from order to invoicing, collections and cash application.
• Oversee collections, monitor AR aging and engage Sales/CS to resolve disputes.
• Lead new billing/revenue system implementations and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Develop and deploy automation/AI workflows to reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with GTM, Deal Desk, Product on SKU launches and billing readiness.
• Manage month-end close for bookings and billings with Revenue Ops.
• Coordinate with Engineering/Product to ensure accurate usage data in billing.
• Monitor strategies to maintain cash flow and minimize bad debt.
• Serve as primary contact for AR/billing audits.
• Create SOPs and playbooks for OTC.
