Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to oversee budgetary and people development at the Fulfillment Center. Lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching to achieve performance objectives and build positive employee relations.

The role requires strategic leadership to balance operational excellence with team growth while driving results across the facility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Experience with full staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and implementation of quality improvement and process optimization initiatives, including Lean methodologies.
• Responsible for overall performance of Inbound or Outbound operations, including safety, quality and customer experience.
• Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
