Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Sr. Operations Manager to oversee budget, people development and operational objectives at the Fulfillment Center. You will coach and mentor Operations and Area Managers, build employee relations and drive leadership strength while delivering results.

The role requires a strategic leader who balances operational excellence with team development across the FC. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
• Ability to balance operational excellence with leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Responsible for performance of Inbound or Outbound operations including safety, quality and customer experience.
• Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages staff to source ideas and create improvement plans for the area.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts and network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and IT to secure resources for projects.
