Responsibilities include defining expectations, mentoring managers, and delivering on safety, quality, and customer experience. The position involves cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and implementation of quality improvement and process optimization initiatives using Lean to boost efficiency.
• Oversees performance of Inbound or Outbound operations including safety, quality and customer experience.
• Sets and communicates requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages staff by sourcing ideas and turning them into improvement plans.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts and network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers for resources.
