Job summary

United Future seeks an Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced production team in the Freehold, NJ area. The role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and enforcing a safety-first, continuous improvement culture across a multi-shift operation.

You will partner with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics to drive operational excellence, 24/7 performance, and successful new product industrialization. Strong Lean/Six Sigma background and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
At least seven years of similar operations/manufacturing management experience.
Experience in FDA-regulated environments (pharma, personal care, food/beverage).
Experience leading large teams (100+ direct/indirect reports).
Root-cause analysis and corrective-action experience.

Responsibilities

Direct 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, and cost targets.
Design and deploy lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies.
Lead talent development, coaching supervisors and team leads, and oversee onboarding and qualification programs.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and logistics to drive site objectives and new product launches.
Manage budgets, labor planning, and operating expenses; advise site leadership on capital investments.
