Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking an Operations Manager for the Freehold, NJ area to lead a fast-paced production team and champion continuous improvement. The role emphasizes coaching, accountability and a safety-first culture across a multi-shift operation.

You will partner with maintenance, engineering, QA, planning and logistics to drive industrialization, cost control and capability improvements while guiding strategy and capital investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required or preferred.
• At least seven years' operations manufacturing management experience.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments (pharma, food, cosmetics) is preferred.
• Experience leading large teams (100+ reports) and 24/7 operations.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput and cost targets.
• Designs and deploys continuous improvement strategies using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Coaches supervisors and leads, manages hiring, onboarding and training.
• Collaborates with maintenance, engineering, QA, planning and logistics on site objectives.
• Manages budgets, labor planning and operating expenses; advises site leadership.
