Job summary

MJ Recruiters, LLC partners with a Freehold-area manufacturer to hire an Operations Manager who will lead a fast-paced, multi-shift production team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will coach supervisors, manage safety-driven culture, and collaborate across maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and logistics to optimize safety, quality, throughput, and cost. Local candidates preferred; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Seven+ years of operations/manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, personal care, food or beverage manufacturing environments preferred.
• FDA-regulated environment experience is advantageous.
• Experience leading large teams with 100+ direct/indirect reports.
• Strong root-cause analysis and corrective action skills.
• Demonstrated 24/7 operations oversight and lean initiatives.
• Budget management and ERP experience; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput and cost targets.
• Deploys Lean and Six Sigma programs with Daily Management, 5S, Kaizen and standard work.
• Builds and mentors high-performing teams; leads hiring, onboarding and training.
• Collaborates with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics to meet site objectives.
• Manages budgets, labor, and operating expenses; advises on capital investments.
• Champions safety culture and continuous improvement across the site.
