Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Operations Manager, Building Automation and Controls in Massachusetts to lead field operations, oversee project and service lifecycle, and drive financial performance within the region.

You will partner with Sales, Project Managers, and external contractors to deliver on-time, on-budget projects while developing teams through coaching, recruitment, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of project experience in the commercial HVAC or building controls market.
• 5+ years of experience in building automation systems (BAS) in Retail, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, HVAC Construction, Data Center, or Service.
• 4+ years of experience leading and managing direct reports.
• 2+ years of experience with project financial reporting, budget management, and P&L tracking.
• 4+ years of experience with enterprise software suites, including MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and MS Project.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead day-to-day operational teams to meet delivers and manage a high volume of concurrent tasks.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure the localized operations plan is achieved.
• Champion customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations and sales goals.
• Strategically manage and reallocate personnel and resources to improve delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with national operations leaders and internal stakeholders to share best practices.
• Administer, communicate, and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution per established processes.
• Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure project success.
• Direct revenue forecasting and establish clear performance standards.
• Support Project Managers in change orders and bid estimations.
• Audit contract documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate bid estimations.
