Job summary

Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a BAS Controls Engineering Supervisor in the United States. You will lead a high-performing team of Controls Engineers, coordinating with Engineering Managers, Sales, and Project Managers to ensure successful automation projects.

The role requires HVAC controls experience, supervisory skills, and strong knowledge of BAS tools (WebCTRL, SiteBuilder, Eikon, ViewBuilder). Travel up to 10% locally is expected.

Qualifications

• HVAC controls experience required.
• Experience leading a team or supervising personnel.
• Experience with BAS software and engineering tools.
• Knowledge of BAS and building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% locally.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and mentor direct reports, including performance reviews and development planning.
• Partner with Engineering Manager for manpower planning and resource allocation.
• Oversee QA/QC reviews to ensure deliverables meet customer specs and schedules.
• Design complete Building Automation Systems (BAS) and create sequences of operation.
• Program WebCTRL and third-party integrations; use Eikon and ViewBuilder for interfaces.
• Conduct functional testing and commissioning for complex systems, e.g., central chiller plants.
• Collaborate with Sales during pre-sales and with Project Managers to meet milestones.
