Job summary

Carrier is seeking a BAS Controls Engineering Supervisor to lead a high‑performing team of Controls Engineers. The role balances people management, mentorship, quality control, and resource planning with technical direction on complex building automation projects.

You will oversee BAS design, hardware/ software QA, and integration work, ensuring alignment with customer specs and schedules. Strong leadership and HVAC controls expertise are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC controls experience required
• 1+ years supervisory or lead experience
• 1+ years CAD design experience (Visio or equivalent)
• 1+ years BAS software/engineering tools experience
• Strong understanding of enterprise IP networking

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and mentor direct reports.
• Conduct performance reviews, manage development, and lead hiring initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering Manager for manpower planning and resource allocation.
• Oversee hardware/software QA/QC reviews for reports.
• Ensure deliverables align with customer specs, standards and schedules.
• Design complete Building Automation Systems (BAS) including controllers, field devices, sensors, networks and hardware.
• Create sequences of operation and submittal documentation.
• Configure WebCTRL via SiteBuilder and program control algorithms and third-party integrations via Eikon.
• Design graphic and text interfaces using Eikon and ViewBuilder.
• Perform functional testing and commissioning for complex systems.
• Collaborate with Sales during pre-sales to ensure technical accuracy; coordinate with Project Managers on milestones.
