Job summary

Cotality is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to handle daily disbursements, balancing, and posting for commercial and residential properties. The role involves monthly close, GL alignment, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a college degree, 4+ years of related experience, and strong communication as well as Excel skills. The position emphasizes accuracy, multitasking, and fast-paced collaboration within a growing finance team.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, presentations, information sharing.
• Customer orientation with strong listening skills; builds customer confidence through delivery of customer satisfaction.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills to retrieve, query, create, update and manipulate documents and spreadsheets with formulas.

Responsibilities

• Processing daily custodial disbursements to taxing authorities for commercial and residential properties with set schedules, controls, SOPs and SLAs.
• Daily disbursement and funding balancing and posting.
• Daily verification of funding and archiving of balancing and processing materials.
• Month end close and reporting and activity.
• Daily liaison with operations, Cognizant and other internal and external customers.
• Participate in client, RegAB and Sox audits as required.
• Fully Cycle Accounts Payable processing.
• Wire and ACH payment processing.
• 1099 Reporting.
• Participate in accurate and timely closing of General ledgers monthly.
• Deliver results individually and as a key team member in a fast paced, high-performance culture.
• The function will include funding verification, RegAB reporting and compliance and outstanding checks reporting.
