Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 12+ years experience in engineering, operations or continuous improvement.
• Black Belt certified is strongly preferred.
• Master Black Belt trained and/or certified (desired but optional).
• Project management trained/experience or willingness to acquire the basics within 1 year.
• Responsible for deploying, owning, championing, and supporting manufacturing 101 within area of focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance Continuous Improvement principles with partners and team members.
• Lead cost and quality improvement efforts using Six Sigma and other tools to drive results.
• Identify and communicate customer requirements and update process controls to reflect best practices.
• Be knowledgeable of governmental regulations (OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, EEOC, OFCCP).
• Drive process improvements using problem-solving methods and train team members in green belt training, statistics, and business knowledge.
• Oversee program deployment at multiple locations across the Americas; understand core manufacturing functions and equipment.
